It's estimated that nearly 3 million people in Florida are facing food insecurity, according to Feeding America, and over 2 million of them are children. 

Now, you're probably thinking "no problem... they get a good lunch in school." But what about during the summer? 

Food insecurity doesn't follow the rules of the calendar, so in Florida, it's up to nonprofits to step up and assist.
