Six months or so after two devastating hurricanes hit Florida, counties and cities across the state are dealing with the issue of how to mitigate future flooding events.

For several months, county and city commissions and councils have been holding meetings about their particular locations, what they can do as a government entity to help their communities, and what residents can and cannot do on their own.

Guests:

  • Comm. Jeff Brower, Chair, Volusia County Council
  • Alan Harris, Director, Seminole County Emergency Management
