A cold front that moved through eastern North Carolina last night will bring us cooler temperatures for the rest of this week.
With plenty of sun, today's highs will top out in the upper 50s to low 60s. Wind gusts around 20 to 30 mph will make it feel a bit cooler.
We'll turn colder tonight with lows dropping into the 30s for many locations by sunrise Friday. Some rural, inland locations may drop to near freezing for the first time this fall season.
Tomorrow will be another sunny, cool and breezy day with highs just reaching the 50s.
