After a stormy first half of the day, winds will increase in the afternoon and night. Some areas could experience wind gusts near 45 mph.
Temperatures will be mild in the 60s and lower 70s before falling tonight as cold air moves into the area following a strong cold front.

When the cold front arrives, some thunderstorms may be embedded along it with a marginal risk (level one out of five) for severe weather. Damaging winds will be the main threat.
Scattered power outages will be possible due to the strong winds.
Presidents Day will be much cooler, but sunshine will return.
