Monday was an absolutely wonderful weather day around the region with sunshine and highs in the 60s in many locations outside of the mountains.
A clear, chilly night will unfold tonight with upper 20s in the mountains, 30s in the piedmont and Sandhills, and 40s near the coast.
Tuesday will again be a very nice weather day with morning sun, and then some high clouds rolling in during the afternoon. Highs will be a touch warmer than Monday in most areas.
A weakening storm system will arrive in the region Wednesday, and some showers will be possible. The system will continue to weaken as it moves east through the Carolinas, so some rain looks likely in the mountains Wednesday morning, and then the coverage of rain will diminish the farther east you are in the area.
Our Thanksgiving weather looks great with sunshine back in place and highs similar to what we saw today. Friday's weather looks good too, and then clouds increase Saturday ahead of some rain chances again Sunday.
