Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall Sunday afternoon in southeastern Louisiana. It has since weakened to a tropical depression as it tracks to the north.


What You Need To Know

  • Cristobal will continue to track to the north over the next couple of days.
  • Flash Flood Watches have been issued as far north as Wisconsin.
  • The system will not directly impact North Carolina, but it will merge with a front that will bring higher rain chances here around Wednesday and Thursday.

The remnants of Cristobal will eventually track as far north as Wisconsin thorugh the middle of this week. 

Flash Flood Watches have been issued where the system is forecast to produce heavy rain.

Cristobal will not directly impact the weather in North Carolina.  However, its remnants will eventually merge with a front moving across the country.  That front will bring a higher chance for showers and storms to our state Wednesday into Thursday.
