Three people, including a juvenile, were seriously injured in a shooting in south Charlotte Thursday night.

The shooting happened at an apartment building on Lake Mist Drive, just off of Old Pineville Road.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they were called to the shooting just after 10:30 p.m., and found a man, woman and female juvenile with gunshot wounds. MEDIC took the victims to the hospital with serious injuries.

Multiple divisions, inlcuding CMPD's victim services, MEDIC, Charlotte Fire Department and Child Development – Community Policing Unit, also assisted.
