CONCORD, N.C. — A third child has died after a house fire early Sunday morning, according to a spokesperson with the City of Concord.
The siblings were all inside the home when it caught fire shortly after 1 a.m.
Two children, ages 11 and 15, died in the fire and were pronounced dead at the scene. The third child, a 16-year-old, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, officials said. She died from injuries Sunday evening.
