CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 39-year-old woman last seen leaving a home in northeast Charlotte is missing, and family members are worried.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say Allisha Dene Watts was last seen on July 16 driving away from a home on Pamela Lorraine Drive. The area is near University City’s College Downs neighborhood.

Watts was possibly headed toward Moore County when she disappeared, police said.

Watts’ SUV, a 2023 Mercedes Benz GLC 300, was found two days later in Anson County. “However, the victim’s whereabouts are still unknown,” police said Tuesday.
