The accused drunk driver, who killed Samantha Miller on her wedding night, had a blood alcohol level of 0.26% the night of the crash, according to a toxicology report released by police. That's more than three times the .08 legal alcohol limit to drive in South Carolina.

Miller, 34, of Charlotte, was in a golf cart with her new husband and two others when they were hit by a car driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone in Folly Beach, South Carolina, police said after the April 28 crash. Police arrested the driver of the car, 25-year-old Jamie Lee Komoroski.

The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. when Komoroski ran into the back of the golf cart, according to police. Photos from the scene show the mangled wreckage of the golf cart on the side of Ashley Road.

Folly Beach is an island south of Charleston, South Carolina, known as a beach destination for tourists.

Police said Miller had gotten married hours before the wreck.

The groom, Aric Hutchinson, was seriously injured in the crash. He suffered a brain injury and broken bones when he was thrown from the golf cart, according to a GoFundMe page set up by the groom's mother.

As of May 8, his mother said he was recovering from his injuries at home.

Police charged Komoroski with reckless vehicular homicide and three counts of driving under the influence causing death. She could face decades in prison if convicted.

Jail records show Komoroski is still being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
