Nicole made landfall in Florida on Wednesday, leaving flooding and damage in its wake. What is left of the storm has made its way northward, bringing wind and rain to North Carolina

The storm's remnants also created numerous tornado threats across parts of North Carolina.

On Friday, the counties of Halifax, Franklin, Warren, Vance, Durham, Orange, Person, Granville, Alamance, eastern Randolph and western Chatham were under Tornado Warnings. No tornadoes were confirmed touching down.

Flood Warnings were also issued for some mountain counties. 

Those warnings have all expired.
