Incumbents reclaimed their spots in most races in the North Carolina municipal elections Tuesday.
Results for elections began trickling in after the polls closed at 7:30 p.m. When the votes were tallied, Charlotte and Greensboro saw their mayors earning another term, as did many of the incumbent city council members.
