CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A community nonprofit in Charlotte is focusing on making an impact for people who may be facing housing insecurities.
The Just Do It Movement, founded by Jessica Gibson, hosted its annual Day of Impact over the weekend.

On Sunday, the nonprofit provided people with free haircuts, new clothes and a warm meal.
Gibson says this event can provide hope for someone who may be struggling.
“To let them know, they are beautiful, they are wonderfully made by God, letting them know they are special,” she said. “Just try to make sure they have self confidence and I know a beautiful hairdo tend to do that for me."
The Just Do It Movement focuses on helping people facing housing insecurities obtain identifying documents they may have lost, like a birth certificate or social security card.
