SELMA, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally in North Carolina on Saturday, April 9.
The rally will take place at 7 p.m. at The Farm at 95 on Batten Road.
Trump is expected to deliver remarks in support of Rep. Ted Budd, who is running in the GOP primary for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Richard Burr, as well as other candidates being endorsed in the upcoming elections.
Budd, who currently represents the 13th District of North Carolina, gained the endorsement of the former president last summer, which he highlighted in his first primary election commercial that aired Wednesday.
Other prominent rivals for the Senate seat include former Gov. Pat McCrory, ex-Rep. Mark Walker and combat veteran Marjorie Eastman.
