Thousands of homes were left without power across North Carolina after a winter storm moved through the area Sunday.
The storm brought snowfall to the mountains, Triad, Charlotte area and into central North Carolina. That snow quickly transitioned to freezing rain, however, in some spots.

Power providers are reporting a few outages remaining across the state with most occuring in Moore County.
