RALEIGH, N.C. — A rising North Carolina comedian is gaining attention from people across the world.
Antonio Neville of "Hey Tony TV" is going viral on TikTok with his comedy skits surrounding the high school experience. Most of his skits are a combination of his experiences at Rocky Mount High School.
“We all have had a principal or at least an assistant principal who acts just like this," Neville said. “I was in the office a lot. So I became a lot closer to the principals.”
He created a fictional high school called Quarter-Brick High School to entertain his millions of followers on TikTok.
His goal is to bring people joy and laughter throughout the pandemic.
“Just knowing that I'm making somebody I don’t even know across the world smile or their day a little bit better is a beautiful thing," Neville said.
This summer Neville plans to lend his voice in an animated feature film. He also has a podcast with Apple Music in the works.
