KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Donald Trump Jr. hosted a “Make America Great Again” campaign rally at Salem One Inc. in Kernersville Monday evening.
He delivered remarks about the economy, the coronavirus pandemic, Joe Biden’s track record, and Hunter Biden.
Monday, President Donald Trump said on a campaign call that Dr. Anthony Fauci is a, “disaster." When asked Donald Trump Jr. about this comment, he said Dr. Fauci hasn't been reliable.
"I’m going to go to this, he’s been talking about models for six months, not one of them, not one has been right. We shut down the country forever, guess what? That didn’t work. The World Health Organization is saying it didn’t work, Sweden didn’t shut down and guess what? They have less transmission than us and they didn’t. Look at the difference between red states and the blue states. The Republican states said, take some precaution, be reasonable, wash your hands, socially distance when you can, wear a mask. The blue states, just shut it down forever. They destroyed their economies, look at New York versus Florida. Similar style state, Florida even has an elderly population therefore more susceptible, their economy is doing great."
He also spoke about his concerns for voter fraud this election; stating they are already seeing a huge problem nationwide.
“Obviously, you see what’s going on, ballots just disappearing, they’re found in ditches, and it’s not just a North Carolina problem it’s all over the country. You’re seeing the gamesmanship. The Democrats want to push, they’re pushing very hard, their big thing, we don’t want the signature to have to match the signature of the registered voter of who’s supposed to be voting, is it a joke?" Trump said.
President Trump made a campaign stop in Greenville on the first day of early voting. He will be returning to North Carolina on Wednesday.
