NORTH CAROLINA — In North Carolina the suburbs could make-or-break this tight presidential contest.
But as of right now, it’s unclear which way the suburbs will lean. At a rally last week in Greenville, the president made mention of his support from suburban women, but some supporters say not everyone is vocal about it.
“I don't think he's won over suburban moms, not the ones I'm in contact with at baseball games or with other parents of the students that are in my kid's schools. Overwhelmingly, the people that speak out are Biden supporters. So, either he's not winning them over or they're not speaking up like me,” Trump supporter Jessica Chamblee said.
In 2016, President Trump won 50 percent of U.S. suburban votes compared to Hillary Clinton’s 45.
