NORTH CAROLINA — On October 26, the North Carolina Turnpike Authority says it will resume its normal billing procedure for people going more than 30 days without paying their N.C. Quick Pass invoices.

NCTA says N.C. Quick Pass will continue working with customers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of this return to normal policy, N.C. Quick Pass customers need to know:

  • Unpaid invoices will not be charged processing fees and civil penalties retroactively
  • Unpaid accounts will not be sent to a collection agency at this time
  • Fees are only assessed to accounts after an invoice is not paid after 30 days
  • The fee escalation process can be seen here

Past due procedures for N.C. Quick Pass invoices were suspended on April 3 due to the pandemic and in an effort to provide financial relief to customers. The change in policy included adjustments that allowed additional time for customers to pay their toll charges without penalty.

Anyone with questions relating to their account can visit NCQuickPass.com to login and view any existing tolls, update account information, or replenish your pre-paid balance. You can also contact the customer service center at 877-769-7277.
