GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Wyndham Championship is taking place this week and its rules and regulations have changed to keep everyone safe and healthy during the pandemic.

Tournament director Mark Brazil says this year's championship is a completely different experience because no spectators are allowed.

"We focus on the fans and the sponsors in putting this on. I mean, that's our customer and so this is really different, not having our customer to focus on," Brazil emphasizes.

He says his team shifted gears to focus on the virtual experience to create the best picture for television viewers.

"Instead of having luxury suites in the CBS tower right behind the 18th green, we have a gigantic sand castle back there that we're building and working on right now," Brazil explains.

He says there are several houses along the golf course that like to host viewing parties for the Wyndham each year, but he says staff will be enforcing Gov. Roy Cooper's regulations with party limits of up to 25 people outside and 10 people inside.
