GREENSBORO, N.C. – A North Carolina developer and business owner has taken the initiative to build an outdoor art gallery with the hopes of making Greensboro a top 10 street art destination in the world.

Greensboro developer and business owner Martis Kotis came up with the idea of having an outdoor gallery.

He says he wanted to give artists a place where they can draw street art legally and enhance the vibrancy of the city.

“My goal with Kotis Street Art and things like this outdoor gallery is to make Greensboro a top 10 destination in the world for street artists from the artists point of view, so we want to provide them everything they need, let them have a wonderful time, show them southern hospitality, and make them want to come back and paint," Kotis emphasizes.

The outdoor street art gallery is located right next to Church Crossing shopping center in North Greensboro.

The gallery is open to the public, free of charge, from sunrise until 10 p.m.
