GREENSBORO, N.C. – Experts say the real estate market is booming right now and trends are changing.
Real estate agent Melissa Greer says more people are buying houses right now because the interest rates are low and the selling points have changed.
She says interest in homes with pools has increased about 75 percent since the beginning of the pandemic.
She believes it's because a lot of public pools are closed, or opened with limited capacity, or people just don't feel comfortable being in public.
“Just to get a pool inspection, it takes forever because the pool people are so busy installing new ones," Greer explains.
Greer says gyms in homes are also a huge selling point right now too.
She explains people are trying to enhance their homes, since people are spending so much more time at home.
