CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A firefighter was injured during an early-morning fire in Charlotte.
It happened on the 2400 block of Afton Lane in Westerly Hills.
According to officials, the fire took 27 firefighters 10 minutes to control the fire.
It is unclear how the firefighter was injured, but officials say the injuries were not life-threatening.
The firefighter has not been identified and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
