NORTH CAROLINA -- Where you live may have a noticeable impact on how healthy you are.

A new study from Wallet-Hub ranked more than 170 of the nation's most populous cities on a variety of health factors, including:

  • Fruit and Vegetable Consumption
  • Number of Fitness Clubs
  • Cost of a Medical Visit

Raleigh ranked the healthiest city in North Carolina and 38th healthiest in the U.S.

Durham was the next NC City on this list, coming in at 66, then Charlotte at 70.

Greensboro was 106th on the list, while Winston-Salem was the second least healthy in North Carolina at 152.

Fayetteville ranked the lowest of any North Carolina city, coming in at 156.

So, what's the healthiest city in the country? That would be San Francisco. Brownsville, Texas came in dead last at 174 on the list.
