A cold front will continue to move across the state through the night. Rain chances will end for the Piedmont and the mountains, but rain lingers for the coast through Sunday morning.

We all end up with more sunshine for Sunday afternoon along with gusty northwest winds. Those winds will bring much colder air our way Sunday night.

We will have lots of sunshine for MLK Day, but it will be chilly with highs for most of the state only in the 40s. The mountains will not make it out of the 20s!

We will stay colder for a few days then trend a little milder later in the week. Our next cold front brings a rain chance by late Friday.
