RALEIGH, N.C. – The John Wall Holiday Invitational is officially underway.

  • The tournament runs Thursday to Monday
  • Tickets are $12 for kids under 10 and $17 for adults for the first three days and then $20 on Monday
  • The championship game begins Monday at 8:30 p.m.

Teams from all across the country are gathered at Broughton High School for this basketball tournament. An organizer says it serves as a base for future professional players and college athletes.

"We got the No. 1 team in the country. The No. 1 team in the state. We got a No. 4 team in the country. We have the No. 1 player in the junior class. The No. 1 player...It’s endless, the talent. You come here in the morning. You come here at night. You’re gonna see a Division I player, a future pro or a unreal storyline,” tournament co-director Webb Wellman said.

Games are played at different times throughout the day.

Tickets are $12 for kids under 10 and $17 for adults for the first three days. On Monday, tickets will be $20.
