LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Lincoln County deputies say someone has been stealing catalytic converters from vehicles parked in business and church parking lots.

  • Crimes happened in Denver Industrial Park, Lakeside Church of God, and Pearl Baptist Church.
  • Most reported on November 18.
  • Two suspects believed to be responsible.

Investigators say most of the stolen catalytic converters were cut from vehicles in the Denver Industrial Park and Lakeside Church of God during the early morning hours of November 18. A catalytic converter was also reportedly stolen from a church van at Pearl Baptist Church on Highway 27 in Iron Station. 

Two suspects wearing heavy clothing and driving a white van are believed to be responsible for the crimes, deputies say.
