FORT FISHER, N.C. – The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is asking for help in naming two baby loggerhead sea turtles.

• The names will be chosen from the following: Scute, Pearl, Bubbles, Hatch, and Noggin
• Last year's turtles were named Castor and Caretta

The aquarium cares for two hatchlings each year. The hatchlings arrive in late summer from a routine excavation of a local nest if they don’t make the initial trek to the ocean.

The names to choose from are Scute, Pearl, Bubbles, Hatch, and Noggin. The top choices will win. The poll closes on Tuesday, December 3.

The aquarium recently released last year’s turtles, Castor and Caretta.
