CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are still looking for the person or persons responsible for the death of a man shot in the University City area on Monday, November 25. CMPD says they are investigating the case as a homicide.
- Nathaniel Isenhour, 19, was shot Monday, November 25 in the University City area
- He died the next day from injuries
- Police have released surveillance images showing a possible suspect vehicle
On January 15, CMPD released surveillance images of a vehicle they believe may have been connected to the shooting. Anyone who recognizes this vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers immediately.
Police say the shooting was reported just before 10 p.m. outside of a shopping center on University City Boulevard near East W.T. Harris Boulevard. When officers arrived however, they say no victims or suspects could be located.
A short time later, authorities were called to Atrium Health University City Hospital in reference to a shooting victim.
Police say Nathaniel Lee Isenhour, 19, had been brought in with life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead the following morning.
No arrests have been made at this time.
