The turkeys are coming from the "presidential flock" at Wellie Jackson's farm in Clinton, just outside Fayetteville. Jackson's farm raises turkeys for Butterball.
Traditionally, a turkey gets a Thanksgiving "pardon" from the president during the ceremony. According to the National Turkey Federation website, one turkey will be served, while the other is a back-up.
A ceremony was held Friday at the farm to celebrate the turkeys and their trip to the nation's capital.
