SALISBURY, N.C. -- Georgia fire officials say one person died when a plane crashed into a townhome Wednesday morning.

Two other people were reportedly aboard the aircraft.

The FAA says the plane crashed shortly after taking off from an airport just outside of Atlanta.

According th A.J.C. News, FAA records show the plane was headed to Salisbury, North Carolina.

Officials have not identified the pilot or the passengers.
