MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. – Police were already working off-duty Friday night at a football game at Vance High School when a fight broke out at the stadium.

  • Police believe shots were fired during a football game at Vance High School Friday night.
  • Upwards of 50 people were involed in various fights after being kicked out of the game.
  • No one was seriously injured.

Everyone involved was escorted out, but then gunshots were heard from the parking lot.

Later during the game, another group of students were escorted from the stadium, and when they got to the parking lot 40 to 50 people started fighting each other.

Luckily, even after everything, no one was seriously injured.

Three people were arrested, but the person with the gun has not been found.
