CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers first home preseason game is set for Friday night against the Buffalo Bills, but there's one big change fans need to know about before heading to Bank of America Stadium.
- The Panthers first home preseason game is Friday night vs. the Bills.
- You can no longer show a paper version of your ticket.
- You have to download the ticket on your phone via Panthers.com, the Panthers app or Ticketmaster.
Paper is out and phones are in when it comes to showing your tickets.
Starting Friday you'll no longer be able to present a paper version of your ticket. Instead, you'll need to have it on your phone.
That means you must download your ticket on the phone. You can access the Panthers.com on your phone’s web browser or the easiest way is to download the Panthers or Ticketmaster mobile apps.
The change is part of a league-wide initiative. The Panthers say it makes it easier for fans to share tickets with each other but the biggest benefit is that it is a less-risky process. Downloading those tickets will give you a barcode that you present when come inside.
If you don't have a smart phone or are having trouble downloading your ticket, the Panthers say you can go the box office with questions or find a representative in bright orange shirts outside the stadium.
Download the Panthers app on Google Play or the App Store.
