DURHAM, N.C. – The Durham Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the leg while watching fireworks Thursday night.

• A man was shot in the leg in Durham while watching fireworks Thursday night.
• It happened on South Roxboro Street.
• Police have not said if the shooting was intentional.

Police say the man was sitting outside at the Cornwallis Apartments on South Roxboro Street with his family at the time of the shooting.

His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Police have not said if the incident is thought to have been intentional, but do say this appears to be an isolated incident.

There is no word on a suspect at this time.
