CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- New details are emerging about the deaths of two students who died in the UNC Charlotte shooting.

  • The newly released autopsy report reveals Riley Howell suffered eight gun-shot wounds
  • The other student, Ellis Parlier, was shot six times
  • Trystan Terrell is charged with murder in the student's deaths

The newly released autopsy report reveals Riley Howell suffered eight gun-shot wounds.

The medical examiner says Howell had four wounds to the head and neck, two to the chest, and one on each arm.

The other student, Ellis Parlier, was shot six times.

Howell is credited as a hero fro charging straight at the gunman during the April 30 shooting, bringing the shooter to the ground.

Trystan Terrell is charged with murder in the student's deaths.
