NORTH CAROLINA -- We had a nice break from the heat on Wednesday.
- We start warming up again on Thursday
- The real heat arrives on Friday

Unfortunately, it was a short break. We start warming up again on Thursday with lots of middle 80s for highs.
The real heat arrives on Friday and sticks around right through the Memorial Day weekend. There will be plenty of middle 90s. Even the mountains and the beaches will be in the middle 80s.
Storm chances will remain very low. The hot and dry pattern continues into next week too!
