CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After a chilly Easter weekend, a nice warming trend will begin Monday as high pressure builds across the area.
- Highs will be back to near normal Monday afternoon with temperatures topping off in the mid-70s
- Tuesday will feature more sunshine, but highs will be in the low to mid 80s
- Wednesday will be another day in the low/mid 80s under partly cloudy skies

Wednesday will be another day in the low/mid 80s under partly cloudy skies. A small chance for an isolated shower or storm creeps back into the forecast Thursday, with another day in the 80s.
A cold front passing through Friday will bring us our next best chance for showers and storms.
