CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Another person has died from injuries stemming a from a deadly house fire.

The Charlotte Fire Department say 4-month-old Axel Camilo Mendez Sanchaz has died.

Officials say 10 people were inside the home on Academy Street at the time of the fire on January 2. They say more than 30 firefighters responded and seven patients were transported.

The baby's mother and two children also died from their injuries. We’re told unattended candles caused the fire.
