CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- This latest push of Arctic air will stick around through Thursday.

  • Temperatures get go down to the upper teens Thursday morning
  • Single digit lows for mountain areas
  • Temperatures begin to moderate on Friday

Lows will be in the upper teens in Charlotte early Thursday morning. The mountains will have some single digit lows along with gusty winds all night. Wind chill values could get as low as -15!

A "Wind Chill Advisory" has been issued for the highest elevations. It will be sunny but still cold on Thursday. Temperatures begin to moderate on Friday with highs in the 60s by Sunday in Charlotte so hang in there.
