MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- A participant in Mooresville's Turkey Trot was hit by a deer Thanksgiving morning.
A witness says the woman was helping hand out water when the deer tried to jump over her and kicked her in the head.
Authorities say she suffered from a laceration to the head.
No word on how extensive her injuries were.
