CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A complex set up over the next few days will lead to periods of rain and gloomy skies.
No severe weather is forecast; just rain.
A cold front will push through the area late Friday night. Once the boundary is east, we start clearing out.
Cold air will arrive and hold court for a good stretch of days. As of this post, we may not see daytime highs above the lower 50s for a week or so. A hard freeze is expected Saturday night.
