BEAUFORT, S.C. – Incredible video was captured on Fripp Island in Beaufort, S.C.

At the Ocean Creek Golf Course, a huge, 12-foot alligator made its way across the green.

In the video, shared by Jessica Miller via Eat Sleep Play Beaufort, a group of deer stood behind as the alligator trotted though.

According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the Lowcountry region’s water and swamps result in alligator sightings once they come out of hiding in the spring.
