Cooler temperatures were felt Friday with much of the region reaching the lower 60s for highs across the Piedmont, and mid to upper 50s for our mountain counties.

Clear skies tonight with chilly temperatures expected. Another freeze is expected for the High Country tonight; lower 30s. The Charlotte region will see temps in the lower 40s.

Sunny Saturday with increasing clouds Sunday; dry both days.

Monday will start a series of days where rain will be likely for many. Rain chances will diminish early Thursday. "April showers"... ya know.
