President Donald Trump spoke about his executive order Thursday that begins the dismantling of the federal Department of Education.
The directive instructs Education Secretary Linda McMahon to return authority over education to individual states.

Evan Stone, the CEO and co-founder of Educators for Excellence, a nonpartisan teacher-led organization, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss what is at stake.
