Gates open at 3:30 p.m., which is also when Rangers batting practice starts. The Cubs will have their batting practice an hour later. Pregame ceremonies start at 6 p.m.

Before the game starts, the stadium will observe a moment of silence for Hector Ortiz, a longtime Rangers coach who died in February after a long battle with cancer.
