ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers have officially unveiled their lineup of brand new menu items available at Globe Life Field ahead of opening day on March 28 — from a chile relleno-style hot “dawwg” to a tower of garlic knot meatball sliders. Fans can also shop commemorative 2023 World Series Championship merchandise and newly added retailers like Kendra Scott.
Boomstick Triple Play, $32.99
Arriving at Globe Life with a bang is “The Boomstick Triple Play” (available at Section 132), which includes an 8-inch double patty burger, a chili cheese dog from Texas Chili Company and loaded Tostitos nachos for $32.99. All items in the trio are topped with nacho cheese.
Texas Tacos, $14.99
The “Texas Tacos” include either taco meat or grilled chicken inside a “Ranger red” crunchy taco shell lined with a flour tortilla and are topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese and salsa verde or roja for $14.99. The Tex-Mex treat is available in Sections 17, 106 and 226.
Korean Pork Steamed Buns, $15.99
New “Korean Pork Steamed Buns” (Section 124 and 230) include a slow-cooked Korean-style pulled pork inside a steamed bao bun, topped with cilantro, Unagi sauce and spicy mayo for $15.99.
Meatball Garlic Knot Sliders, $17.99
Another finger food attendees can enjoy at the stadium are the “Meatball Garlic Knot Sliders,” a tower of Italian-style meatballs served on garlic knot bread and topped with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. Find these at Sections CL23, 133 and 230 for $17.99 for three sliders.
Ranchero Chile Relleno Dawwg, $15.99
The “Ranchero Chile Relleno Dawwg” is an Angus beef hot “dawwg” stuffed with queso chihuahua, wrapped in roasted banana pepper and bacon, grilled and served on a Martin’s potato roll topped with grilled onions. Find it at concession stands at Sections 121 and 225 for $15.99.
Chicken Empanadas, $14.99
The chicken empanadas available at Sections 108 and 225 are the tamest of the bunch. The simple yet appetizing menu item consists of a handmade empanada stuffed with chicked, then fried and served with salsa roja and Tostitos tortilla chips for $14.99.
New restaurants
Available at Globe Life for the first time is Texas’ favorite fast-food joint, Whataburger (Section 105). The burger chain will feature some of its most iconic menu items like the #1 Whataburger, fries, onion rings and Whataburger shakes.
Newly available at the stadium’s Golden Chick location (Section 128) will be a chicken and waffles taco, which consists of a waffle “taco” shell wrapped around a chicken tender and drizzled with honey sriracha sauce.
Hurtado Barbecue, the stadium’s official barbecue partner, will feature its most popular item, the milanesa taco (Section 141). The taco consists of a chicken fried piece of brisket topped with gravy and chile de arbol and wrapped in a flour tortilla.
Available on a rotating basis will be Arlington-based restaurants Ella B’s Restaurant, Prince Lebanese Grill, Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery, The Tin Cup and Cartel Tacos and newcomers Shrimp Doc and TJ’s Catfish & Wings.
