SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs will never have another player wear the number nine.

  • Game starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • Each fans will receive free shirt

In August, the team announced Tony Parker’s Jersey would be retired at the November 11 game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Parker’s number will be the tenth jersey retired by the organization.

In 17 seasons with San Antonio, Parker helped lead the team to four NBA titles. In 2007, he became the first European player ever to be named the NBA Finals MVP. He spent his final NBA season with the Charlotte Hornets.

Parker is one of four players in league history to record 4,000 points and 1,000 assists in the NBA Playoffs, along with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Each fan in attendance will receive a "Merci Tony" shirt. There will also be a nine-piece art exhibit inside the AT&T Center, as well as multiple photo opportunities throughout the arena.

An auction will also be held from November 11 to November 15 that will benefit veterans through WISH for OUR HEROES and San Antonio's youth through Silver & Black Give Back.

The items for auction include a signed 2003 NBA Championship jersey, a Parker-signed game photo, a signed French National Team jersey, and more.
