HOUSTON, Texas -- Texas Southern University will serve as the venue for the third Democratic primary debate.

The debate will be held over the course of two days, Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13. It will take place in the Health & Physical Education Arena.
“As the heart and soul of Houston, Texas Southern University is proud to serve as the venue for such a prestigious event,” said TSU President Austin A. Lane.

The Democratic National Committee is requiring participants to hit 2 percent in multiple polls and collect contributions from 130,000 individual donors. Only polls taken between June 28 and August 28 will count.
