- Finished 3-9 last year

The Roadrunners looked ready to take the next step as a program in 2018, but reality showed they weren’t and the year ended with a 3-9 record.

“A year ago, the want to improve on the previous two years, you poured so much into that, that the voice wasn’t heard as much I as I desired it to be heard,” said Wilson.
At Conference USA media days on Wednesday, the coach talked about why he thinks this year will be better.
“The team has taken the leadership and realized that they’re shareholders so our team is now more player led,” said Wilson.
UTSA will look for improvements on offense and could be more dynamic if quarterback Frank Harris returns from an ACL injury and takes over the starting job.
The Roadrunners open the season at home on August 31 against UIW.
