SAN ANTONIO -- UFC Lightweight Alexander Hernandez is showing no signs of nervousness, just three days before his first UFC fight in his hometown.

  • Believes he's the greatest in the world
  • Ranked 13th in the world
  • One of several athletes competing

But he already believes he’s the greatest in the world, so it’s no surprise that he feeds off the energy.

The San Antonio native is ranked 13th in the world and he’s ready to have the MMA equivalent of the home court advantage.

Hernandez is one of several athletes competing in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night at the AT&T Center.

On Wednesday, six of the competitors participated in a public workout at the arena. Hernandez was the first to demonstrate some of his training drills, and then had the chance to address the fans that came to watch him.
